Golf - PGA - FedEx St. Jude Classic - Head to Head Pick
By: Richard O'Malley – Wednesday, June 8th, 2011
June 9th begins the first round of the FedEx St. Jude Classic, as the PGA Tour will head to the TPC at Southwind in Memphis Tennessee. The FedEx St. Jude Classic is the last stop before the US Open takes place. The TPC Southwind features 94 sand bunkers, 10 water hazards, and was ranked 11 (out of 52) in difficulty on the PGA Tour in 2010. Lee Westwood won last years event after Robert Garrigus lost a three-stroke lead on the final hole to force a 3-man playoff. I have made 5 head to head picks for the first round that I have sent to my clients. I would like to highlight one of those 5 picks below:

Golf - PGA - FedEx St. Jude Classic:
[8:45am EDT] - John Rollins (-115) over Carl Pettersson (1st Rnd)

Below, I have listed some of the stats that I looked at when comparing these two:

Players
John Rollins
Carl Pettersson

• I feel that in this tournament accuracy is very important.
• Also 12 of the 18 holes are Par 4's so I find Par 4 Performance also meaningful.
